How to Play Wordaloof

Objective:

Find the terminal word in as few moves as possible. A terminal word is one that has no valid next words.

Rules:

Each word must be exactly 5 letters long
Each new word must differ from the previous word by exactly one letter
Words must be valid English words
You cannot use the same word twice
Greyed out letters cannot form valid next words

Tips:

Pay attention to the number of possible words remaining
Only letters that can form valid next words are highlighted
Your game progress is automatically saved
Each day has a new starting word

Strategy:

Try to avoid changing vowels when possible. When you change a vowel, you open up more possible words which will increase the number of moves you have to make to reach a terminal word

Example:

START → STARS → STARK → SPARK

Each word changes by exactly one letter from the previous word.
